Thank you to our friends and family who joined us on our magical day. While it was chilly outside, our hearts were warm and we are forever thankful.
We really can’t thank you enough for all of your good wishes and love.
While the thank you’s are endless, we couldn’t have done it without the help of these amazing people*:
Our wedding coordinator who helped maintain our sanity and pull it all together. While most refer to me as the “lovely admin”, having the assistance of Janeen and her team really allowed us to enjoy the day. Not to mention, she was just great to work with!
Our photographers and (now friends!), Bianca and Anne Michele. They were wonderful to work with and the proof is in all of the photos!
Our dear friends, Jennifer Ascosi and Julian Leon for leading our wedding ceremony. We couldn’t have asked for more thoughtfulness, care, and love in making our ceremony special and sacred. Although, we are not surprised considering what wonderful, delightful, and talented creatures you are!

Henry Chapin for leading us in the Contra dancing and playing violin. Contra dancing was something we tried at the NOFA-NY convention. In my opinion, Contra dancing could save the world. I love how it brings everyone together in a unique and playful way! Not to mention, Henry was the best caller.
Hayden Taylor and Jaime Newman for making the wonderful flower arrangements. My bouquet was made by Jaime and the rest of the flowers were created by Hayden and his helpers!
Sweet Thorn Flora
Lauren Noon for making lovely bracelets for my “bridal” party.

The “decoration crew”! I hope you enjoyed the “pick-a-buddy-system”! A special thanks to Andrew and Roy for missing out on the decorating fun because they re-washed the dishes which went through a snowstorm on the drive over…
… Marilynn and Steven for DRIVING 150 plates from Iowa to New York.
Kerry & Todd for endless support and love.
Nicole Romanelli & JP Kiddo for taking video footage, making playlists, hosting one of the bachelorette parties, connecting us with Sam and Marta for the photo booth, and so. much. more. Like all of the tiny things we would forget. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Marisa, Charlie, and Andrea for helping me make the wedding “as close to Zero Waste as possible!” Another to Marisa for letting me turn her house into a rainbow zoo!
Erin, Nicole, Graciela, Francesca, & Beth for making rainbows.
Kyle and Graciela for that random apartment sale nearly three summers ago and for the amazing friendship that came out of it. It’s because of this that we met in the first place.
Calee for taking more videos!
Dandeena for my “something old and something blue” butterfly pin. She knows my love of butterflies because of our old days of facepainting at carnivals in Iowa.
Amy and Beth for working out bachelorette details with Nicole. I loved painting with all of you so very much!
Our families. You are amazing. We love you.
Our friends. You make our “garden”. My wish is that some new friendships and connections were made and that your own “gardens” will grow.
